The Night of the Living SuperCard

Previously, on WWE SuperCard...

With a satchel full of Dungeons and Dropkicks cards and a spark in your eye, you’re feeling optimistic as you find your way to the cave exit and onto a path within a tranquil forest. Your spirit is emboldened as the fresh evening air fills your nostrils, and you’re wondering: What could be next in my SuperCard Adventure?

As you ponder, a frigid mist begins to collect around your feet and the fall evening seems to become smothered in pitch darkness as night falls. The trees that lined your path have suddenly shed their leaves, and their branches twist and gnarl as if trying to pluck you from your path. A faint and ghastly moan can be heard in the distance—no, two– no…many MANY more than that. They’re here. No time for rest.

The Bell Tolls for THEE

The season of the undying is upon us and a legion of ghosts and ghoulies are rising from the grave, stirred into a frenzy by the Deadman himself, The Undertaker.  To survive the night (and earn yourself some devastating new Undertaker-inspired event SE cards), you’ll have to master two new game modes in which you capture ghosts and utilize them to fight back against the undead horde. You can’t run forever, you know. It’s the Mini5try of Darkness event.

Don’t worry, we’ll give you some pointers to help you out—we can’t have zombies nabbing all of our SuperCard players, after all. The first thing you’ll need to fight them off is a set of upgrades to go in your Zombie-Fighting deck filled with legacy Halloween Superstars; you won’t be able to use just your regular suite of Superstars this time. We’ll explain everything on the way, follow us…

Enter the Graveyard

The horde is on your heels, but you’re not equipped to stand up to them just yet. First, you’ll need to tear the veil between realms to nab some lost souls from the other side. Don’t worry, these ghosts are harmless… well, harmless to YOU, at least.

Here, take this Summoning Spell. When you use it, you’ll be given the ability to invite specters from the great beyond into our world. You see, different types of ghosts often wander these grounds, and you have been divined with the ability to convert their ghostly aura into upgrades for your Zombie deck. All you need to do is tap them, and they’ll be converted into upgrades that will go right into your deck. Be wary, as there are five types of ghosts: Skull, Pumpkin, Spectre, Foot, and Hand ghosts. Each corresponds to a set of cards in your Zombie deck, and collecting a ghost of that type will upgrade a card of that type at random. If you’re able to fully upgrade every card in a given category, you’ll unlock a new, unworldly power to help you defeat the zombies—powers like freezing them in their tracks or damaging many of them at once.

Aside from upgrading your cards, you’ll be granted different milestone rewards for your efforts, including Liv Morgan, AJ Styles, Zelina Vega, and Shinsuke Nakamura SEs, so be diligent in your search. Ok, you’re ready.

They’re coming to get you, SuperCarder...

Time to stand your ground. Your deck is already filled with legacy Halloween cards that aren’t a part of your main deck—no need to go and collect all of those. There are six levels in front of you, all filled with the undead. Beat all of those, and you’ll get access to the next stage. Completing stages has its own rewards, including a new Paul Bearer support card, a new Casket equipment card, and a new LE of the Deadman himself, the Undertaker.  You’ll need a Tombstone token to begin, which you can get from various game modes and the Ministry of Darkness quest.

MOD UT

Ready? Once you’ve steeled yourself and started a level, you’ll see zombies coming at you in three lanes. Don’t panic; you’ve got a deck of Halloween Superstars at your side to fight them, each with a different power score and alignment. Place them on a lane, and they’ll begin walking towards the incoming zombies in that lane. Some zombies have an arrow alignment, too, and you’ll want to try to match your cards to their alignments to do maximum damage. Be quick, but be smart—you want to keep the zombies as far from you as possible, but playing irresponsibly will run your deck out of cards, leaving you wide open to get chomped. It only takes one bite, and you’ll be shambling with the worst of ‘em, so be careful—and if you get stuck, you can always revisit the graveyard and cast a Summoning Spell to upgrade your cards.

The Rest

We’ll be rockin’ with the witches and the werewolves all October long, so don’t let your guard down. With Halloween Havoc on the horizon, we’ll have another Watch Party complete with new PLE cards, as well as a fresh Charlotte Flair BattlePass. A few new player avatars have arrived as well—you can be a zombie! AAH!

That’s all for now. Good night, and good luck.
