Inferno Rarity + Dungeons and Dropkicks!

We’ve had a heck of a time over the last few months. From hurling Hadoukens with Ryu to celebrating 10 glorious years of SuperCard with our favorite people (you), we’ve been going non-stop to introduce cool cards for your collection. With all of that behind us, maybe it’s time for a short rest. You close your eyes and drift off to sleep…

You open your eyes to see you’ve been transported to a dark room. Torches set alight with arcane flames flick light across giant pale stones that make up the surrounding walls. It looks like some kind of dungeon. You hear the telltale sounds of mat-slapping as Superstars battle in far-off chambers. Your hands tremble at the promise of rewards and treasures deep within the halls of this strange place. Your short rest is over, your spells are refreshed, and it’s time to enter combat. Starting today, welcome to the world of DUNGEONS and DROPKICKS.

Hail and well-met, adventurer.

Before you begin your dredge through the dungeon, there’s something within these caverns for which to remain vigilant: a powerful new set of cards– cards born from fire and flame that are capable of bringing even the most constituted opponents to a crisped husk. Beware, adventurer, for the INFERNO RARITY has arrived.

As you quest, you may be fortunate enough to add these mighty warriors to your deck, so keep an eye out for the likes of Roman Reigns, Liv Morgan, LA Knight, Kane, Undertaker, and more.

Enter the Dungeon

With your team assembled and your pack filled with potions, let’s discuss what you’ll find as you begin your Dungeons and Dropkicks adventure.

Across three game modes, you’ll find 10 unique Dungeons and Dropkicks SEs as well as three equipment cards. The first stop on your journey will be Ye Olde Tournament Mode.

Upon spending a Sword token, you’ll be added to a medieval contest of strength and cunning in which you’ll choose one of three Superstars to fight. Win against any of the six available Superstars 10 times, and you’ll have earned their respect, adding them to your deck.

It’s not as simple as hacking and slashing your way to victory, however– you’ll need to employ strategy and tactics to beat them all. Before you enter your first tournament, head to the deck editor. There, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve got your best Superstars in your tournament deck, but that’s not all– you’ll also want to make sure your Combo Deck is in order. If you recall the combos you needed to be the best in the world in the Street Fighter event, this tournament will feel familiar. Add extra cards to your combo deck to increase your odds of pulling off the strongest combos and ensuring your victory.

Once you’ve got your decks sorted, enter your first tournament to begin. Each Superstar you challenge will pit two of their lackeys against you. You’ll need to defeat at least one of them to advance to the final battle against the Superstar themself.

On top of recruiting new cards to your roster, Ye Olde Tournament mode will also help you acquire Crown Tokens for use in Ye Olde Throne Hunter.

Ye Olde Throne Hunter is your personal treasure map that will guide your way through the dungeon you’ve found yourself in. Using Crown tokens to unlock your path, you’ll be tasked with navigating your way to four different locations within the dungeon to collect rewards and Puzzle Shards. In short, 100 puzzle shards grants you a puzzle piece. Collect all the pieces and complete the puzzle, and you’ll be the proud recipient of a new Cody Rhodes Special Edition card. So, how do you get more shards? Start with Ye Olde Tournament Mode. The more wins you rack up in Tournament Mode and the more cards you collect, the higher your Shard Multiplier rises. Get up to 2x and you’ll be collecting double as many shards at locations in Throne Hunter. Get that multiplier up to 24x and, well, you can intuit the rest. Make sure you investigate each location before setting your course– some will have more shards than others! Also, each location contains between 1 and 3 dice that you’ll roll to get a chance at even MORE shards.

If you want to complete your collection of all 10 Dungeons and Dropkicks SEs, you’ll need to venture over to Dungeon Smasher for the Triple H card. Smash your way through chests, doing your best to avoid the dangerous mimics that halt your progress. The more treasures you unlock, the better your odds at securing the King of Kings.

Finally, legends have foretold of a powerful game master Xavier Woods SE card available as a rare chance on draft board resets beginning on 9/20. If fortune shines upon you, maybe he’ll find his way into your collection.

Treasure awaits, adventurer!

The Rest

Once you finish your perilous quest, more will be in store for you through the month of September. For the vast number of Dominik Mysterio fans out there, a new BattlePass will be available on 9/25. New avatars are now available in-game as well– you can be dice!

That’s all for now.
